History

What we now call First Colorado National Bank was originally formed in 1903 as First National Bank. The original location was in a hardware store, located on Grand Avenue in Paonia. Shortly afterward the bank was moved next door into what is now the Blue Sage Building, which still stands as a familiar landmark in downtown. Eventually, the bank outgrew it's facilities and was moved to its current location at the corner of Second street and Grand Avenue. 

Though the bank has grown and changed over the last 100 years, one constant has been the desire to fulfill people's financial needs while building lasting and meaningful relationships with the members of our community.
